Hi, I’m Michelle, a tutor with 7+ years teaching in and out of the classroom. I hold a Master of Arts in General Education and Special Education, with an emphasis on inclusivity in education. 

As a lifelong learner, I firmly believe that everyone is capable and that learning should be fun and interesting in order for us to learn our best and grow.

 I loved learning as a child but often found school to be regimented and inflexible, with students expected to sit down and be quiet, and a heavy focus on rote memorization. I was sad that only one way of learning and behaving was often deemed the “correct” way. I believe everyone has unique, innate interests and that everyone learns differently. This is what makes us all unique and special! I love the challenge of taking a subject or assignment and adapting it to each learner’s unique interests.
